One of the oldest towns in the Philippines, Vigan is a Spanish-colonial fairy tale of dark-wood mansions, cobblestone streets and clattering kalesa (horse-drawn carriages). Vigan is so special, UNESCO deemed it a World Heritage Site and noted, “Vigan is an exceptionally intact and well-preserved example of a European trading town in East and Southeast Asia. The architecture is truly reflective of its roots in both materials and design, in its fusion of Asian building design and construction with European colonial architecture and planning.”
Here are some of our photos from Vigan:

And that concludes our three-day Ilocos trip. This is definitely my best summer ever. Hoping for more trips like this in the future because there's nothing like spending time with your family just bonding, having fun, and making memories. :)
